HANS' BAKERY
The name is based on the dream of immigrants Hans and Traudy Birkner, whom with handwork and a dream created this landmark bakery. It has always been a family run place, all the way from the very beginning in the early 70's. Of course, they created their German Beehive dessert which is still available today and one of the highlights here. A mix of German traditions and methods with the America new styles has really brought this bakery to the popular it is today. After a sudden passing, the famed bakery fell apart. Luckily, a few families got together and revived the classic spot to the joy of the community. Since 2014, it has been as hot as ever and we're so happy to be able to recommend the spot to our readers. Another spot in Blaine is also available!
